Cookie Policy
The few small files and browser storage Wrapp uses, what each is for, and how to control them.
Last updated 24 October 2026
1. What this covers
Cookies are small files a website puts on your device. Wrapp also uses similar tools, such as your browser's local storage and a service worker, which work the same way for this policy. We call them all "cookies" below.
Wrapp does not use advertising cookies, does not record your screen, and does not sell data about what you do on the site. Analytics run only if you allow them.
2. What we use
Strictly necessary (always on, they keep Wrapp working and safe):
- A secure sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in. It is set only for sign-in requests, is hidden from page scripts, and is cleared when you sign out.
- Security and anti-abuse signals that protect sign-in, payments and wishes from bots and fraud.
Preferences and convenience (stored on your device only):
- Your light or dark theme.
- Drafts of a celebration or a wish you were writing, so you do not lose them if you close the page.
- Small markers, such as that you already sent a wish to a page, or that you already saw a celebration animation.
- Access codes you entered for private pages, for the length of your visit.
Analytics (only if you choose Allow on the banner):
- Google Analytics, which counts visits and shows which pages are used, with your IP address shortened.
- PostHog, which counts product events (for example, a username reserved) and lets us ask short surveys. It does not record sessions.
- You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser; the banner will ask again.
Error reports (always on, no cookies):
- Sentry receives technical details when something breaks, such as the browser type and the error. It does not receive what you typed, your cookies, or your sign-in details.
Notifications (only if you turn them on):
- A service worker and a push token from your browser, so we can send notifications when Wrapp is closed. You can turn this off at any time in Settings.
Services we rely on, such as payment checkout pages and embedded content from providers, may set their own cookies when you use them. Those are governed by the provider's policy.
3. Your choices
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, and clear a site's stored data from there. If you block the strictly necessary ones, parts of Wrapp, like staying signed in or paying, will not work.
You can turn push notifications off in Wrapp's Settings or in your browser's site settings.
4. Changes
If we add anything that changes this list, we will update this page and, where the law requires, ask for your consent first.
